First time Baby Jay let me hold his hand. Ay-i and I wanted to keep our distance for the first few days, but this is the day that he deemed me worthy of being in his "circle of trust." I think this is the highlight of my trip.
This is a few minutes before the hand holding. He LOVES the outdoors, and just isn't really happy without being outside. So we oblige, and take him out nightly to enjoy the evening air. This is him stretching, preparing his muscles for a nightly stroll.
I call this picture, "Hey, barkeep! Gimme another."

I love the picture of him outside and reaching down for his shoes. It is great!! I agree with you--it is the most awesome feeling when they reach up and hold your hand and with it comes all the joy and emotion and unending love. Enjoy this time--the ride just gets better!!!
